Kate produced this CD to fulfill a lifelong dream. Born in Two Rivers Wisconsin into a musical family, she grew up listening to Polka and Big Band music. Her father played the saxophone and the clarinet, while several of her uncles were singers.

Kate's talents include violin, piano and singing in operas such as "La Traviata", "Madame Butterfly", "Cavalaria Rusticana and Pagliacci", as well as performing lead roles in musical productions such as "Mame" and "Fiddler on the Roof".

Ms. Hamon is the mother of 4 children and the grandmother of 8 and the great grandmother of 9, so far. She now resides in Northern California and helps run her daughter's import store. She is active in her local church as the choir director and also teaches voice for "The Academy", a school in the nearby community of Ione.
